Hippo FC is proud to celebrate Captain Jennebah Koomson, age 14. 

Jennebah was named MVP and won the Golden Boot for the 2025 to 2026 Margibi County Women Lower League. 

She scored four hat tricks and added two assists during the season.

As Captain, she led Hippo FC to eight wins, one draw, and zero defeats in nine games, with 28 goals scored and only two conceded.

Jennebah also represents Liberia as a U-15 player for the Lonestar National Team. Every goal she scores supports our Four Birth Trees program. 

From 2026 to 2028, Hippo FC plants 100 trees for every goal. Jennebah’s hat tricks are helping grow Liberia’s forests.

Through Hippo Watch, Captain Jennebah teaches other students about the endangered Pygmy Hippo, clean water, and forest protection.

Head Coach Elijah Foyiah says: Jennebah leads as Captain on and off the pitch. 

She sets the standard in training, lifts her teammates, and stays committed to school.

Jennebah says: As Captain, I want to help my team win and help my country. I love football and I love Liberia.
